Galaxy users will notice some subtle changes with the release of Galaxy One UI 6 (Android Version 14). For example, the names displayed with a number of Samsung app icons have been simplified, making it easier for users to recognize apps at a glance.
1: Simplified labels
Simplifying app labels for Galaxy One UI 6 (Android Version 14) includes limiting app names to one line on Galaxy home screens by removing the words “Samsung'' and "Galaxy" from the displayed names of apps. This change creates a cleaner, more organized appearance, which in turn helps users find their favorites more easily.
Users can search by full name in the App list search as well as search in Settings > Apps.
