Apps continuously store temporary data while being used. If unnecessary data is saved in your device, the storage space of the device might become insufficient.

If your device is running out of storage or running slowly then clear the app cache and data.

Follow the below steps to learn how to clean the app's cache and data.

Note: This feature is available in selected models/software versions only.

How to clear the app’s cache

If a specific app you are using is slowing down, try clearing that app's cache first.

How to clear the app’s data

When clearing data, all of the selected application’s data will be deleted permanently. This includes all files, settings, accounts, databases, etc., and the user will not able to retrieve the data back without saving it on the cloud or an SD card or any storage device.

NOTE: Samsung suggests that users save the data on an external source if it is required before performing these steps.
