Some apps couldn't update

Why some apps no matter how i try it shows couldn't update. Is it my Samsung version too old thus can't support? Have been wondering about this.. 🤔

Yeah I think now most apps require minimally Android 10 and newer, for security purposes.

Technically, it's still not that old.

I just checked for Chrome, the minimum Android version should be Android 8 and newer.

Log out google account and login with diff account to c if it works.
Happens to me b4 hence i change account to update then change back after tat. Sometimes is to trigger the system.

For such app that can't be updated, suggest u to reach out to the developer and let them know ur current device model and android version...

Many times it's the software developer tweaked their software to refuse to update the app for certain devices like no longer support tablet, old android version, or some other settings in ur current device which does not meet their criteria...
