I'm at Singapore, the phone upgraded OS to v6.0 on 16 Apr 2024. One deep green vertical line appeared after that. The guy in SG service center asked me to pay for $303 screen replacement fee by myself today. It's absurd and so disappointing. How Samsung could hurt customer's rights and loyalty like this? ...

Samsung offers free screen replacement for the green line issue in India. Let's see whether they would do the same here in SG.

Looks like Samsung Singapore don't provide the free screen replacement. After a recent update on my S21 I got a Green Vertical Line issue. Was told very firmly by the service staff at Samsung Vivo City Centre that they'll do not offer the free screen replacement despite me telling them that I had read the SamMobile eNewsletter that Samsung will provide the free screen replacement. I am puzzled by Samsung Singapore's indifference with regards to this issue.
