Taken this morning June 27th at 6:20 am about an hr after sunrise with the moon about 37° above horizon and almost due south. Samsung S23 Ultra camera 10x expert raw mode with 12×55 Gosky monocular. Artwork shows how the color of the moon in the morning is an additive mixture of whitish direct sunlight reflected off the moon to observer PLUS sunlight scattered off the atmosphere to observer (with blue light being the strongest scattering). The moon has many faces and phases.

Wow! I'd say it's a "technical" side of the moon 🙂
