  • $\begingroup$ There's similarities in our strategies. But I think I'm leveraging the sample-size-differences more. I think the problematic case for you, is when first three measurements are equal and suggest a different weight than the 4th. If my calculations are correct, that case can still have 54 different answers. $\endgroup$ Commented Mar 4, 2023 at 22:54
  • $\begingroup$ @KrisVanBael That case is indeed complex, but I think it is doable/I solved it. Your approach seems superior. In your approach however, I think cancelling fakes are a possibility in many more branches. (..and you currently have no full answer published either). $\endgroup$
