Jan 11, 2023 at 6:31 comment added Joseph Sible-Reinstate Monica @ACB Suppose the possibilities for the number of bombs were either 1, 2, or 3. You choose to eliminate 2 and give its probability to 3. Now there's a 1/3 chance the board has 1 bomb and a 2/3 chance the board has 3 bombs.
