We are looking for a professional in communications, marketing, or advertising to be part of the MMB Europe Employee Communications Advisory team, who will be working with companies of all sizes and industries across Europe, to help them solve communications challenges related to promotion, understanding and perception of their employee benefits and wellbeing programs. This position is to be based in our Lisbon office:

SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT

In this consultative role, you will help our clients through the definition, design, and delivery of communications strategies to enhance the employee experience, the employer brand reputation, and the engagement of their workforce.

  • Managing client projects that focus on developing and delivering communications strategies, plans and associated deliverables that articulate client objectives, advance an employee value proposition, contribute to enhance employee experience, and increase of engagement.

We will count on you to:

  • Perform project management duties, including developing and maintaining communications project plans, overseeing budgets, coordinating team activities, participating in and facilitating meetings and other associated tasks;
  • Establish direct contact with the commercial teams and their clients to identify needs and strengthen our value proposition in a comprehensive way;
  • Lead discussions with colleagues and clients across Europe to generate ideas and analyse applicable data to implement and design communications strategies;
  • Generate revenue through the acquisition of new clients, cross-selling to current clients, and extending current client engagement to add new activities including conducting face-to-face meetings with potential clients (prospects);
  • Develop communication strategies for clients to support other complimentary services or products of the advisory area in benefits consulting and workforce health;
  • Own and deliver against personal financial targets as agreed with the team leader;
  • Support team growth/sales and revenue target;
  • Adhere to MMB billing standards;
  • Act as role model with integrity and professionalism;
  • Network with peers internally and externally;
  • Maintain technical knowledge to the required standard;
  • Work with other teams in the business to deliver a profitable seamless service;
  • Recognise success within the team;
  • Coach/mentor of new and existing colleagues as required.

What you need to have:

  • Degree in Communications, Markerting, Design or similar;
  • Solid experience with communications strategies, employer branding and employee experience.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a consulting-like environment, with proven ability to generate revenue by acquiring new clients and experience managing and developing a team of professionals;
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;
