This week, we are proud to be participating in ISAP (8th Congress of the International Society for Applied Phycology). Today, we started the day with a welcome presentation by our President, Joao Navalho, followed next by the presentation "Where we are, what we aim". Also, we had two incredible presentations, the first one about "NutriBloom Plus - A commercial concentrated culture medium", by João Pedro Pires, from the Bussiness Development at Necton, and "The Power of Microalgae: Revolutionary Ingredients for Nutrition and Sustainability", presented by Vitória Moreira, Bussiness Developer at Allmicroalgae. To finish off the day, we had a visit to the Allmicroalgae facilities, exploring the theme: "Sustainable Algae Innovation: A Journey Through Allmicroalgae's Pioneering Solutions". 🤝 This past Monday, we had the privilege of welcoming Vitória Moreira from our partner Allmicroalgae. It was a fantastic opportunity to show our laboratories and the innovative projects we're working on together. The highlight of the visit was a delightful trip to Check In restaurant, where we, together with Chef Leonel Pereira, conducted a sensorial test featuring a variety of algae-based foods. We savored: 🍺 Tetraselmis beer and our famous 🍔 algae burgers, both developed by Kricelle Deamici and her team (Food working group). 🍦 Spirulina ice cream and 🍮 Chlorella mousse, both exquisite creations by Chef Leonel Pereira.
