2It may be a stretch to claim the first poll truly indicates a majority. The poll concluded 50.9% in favour, but also states: "605 men and women were interviewed in Hebrew and 151 in Arabic, constituting a representative national sample of the entire adult population of Israel aged 18 and older. The maximum sampling error for the entire sample was 3.55%± at a confidence level of 95%." 1@EndAntisemiticHate I agree it's a stretch, but that's still the point estimate given by the survey and so insofar as it goes, it's evidence in support of the proposition. Indeed, I include it specifically as a partial counter-point in the manner you suggest, because IDI also shows good discipline in polling, etc. Whereas the more sensational, recent result has other reasons to suspect it. My preamble to this answer is meant to point out that while the technical answer to 'is there survey data' is yes, there's a lot of wiggle room when it comes to interpreting that data.– William Walker IIICommented Jun 7 at 13:32

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. united-states), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
