Pratia Sirius represents a new model of clinical trial conduct, unprecedented in Spain. Leading the clinical trials at this site will be esteemed investigators from UOMi Cancer Center ensuring the highest standards of research and patient care. We are excited to share that the next phase of this initiative includes the opening of another dedicated research site and oncology unit in Lleida, Spain. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of attending the annual International Clinical Trials Day conference organized by INFARMA - The Employers’ Union of Innovative Pharmaceutical Companies, the Polish CRO Employers’ Association - POLCRO, and the Polish Association for Good Clinical Practice (GCPpl).   As always, the goal of the conference was to promote dialogue and integration among all clinical trial stakeholders to support the development of innovation in Poland.   Held at the Medical University of Warsaw (WUM), the event provided a great opportunity to discuss how we, as Pratia, are supporting the advancement of innovation in Poland, aligning our actions with our mission to increase access to innovative therapies for Patients.   Additionally, participants had the chance to hear about our new campaign "Health Has a Future in Clinical Trials" and learn more about what it means to be a Patient of Tomorrow.

Our Pratia team from sites across Poland came together for a valuable offsite experience. Since many of us work remotely or in distant locations, this was a great opportunity for team building and strategic discussions. We also enjoyed the stunning beauty of the Masurian Lake District, strengthening our bonds and aligning on future goals. Here's to more productive and inspiring gatherings! 😊

The director of the Ribera Salud Foundation, Mercedes Gozalbo Mestres, the research programme manager, Paula Gomez, Laura Parra Villar and Alida Ballester de Matias Site Managers from Pratia presented the collaboration agreement between the two organisations to around thirty professionals from the Vinalopó University Hospital (Elche). The agreement will let them pool their clinical and research management experience in order to increase patient access to innovative therapies in three of the group's hospitals, including Vinalopó.   Mercedes Gozalbo explained how the alliance between the Ribera Salud Foundation and Pratia will let clinical trials be organised more effectively and efficiently, thanks to the synergy of the best professionals from both entities, with the aim of becoming a benchmark in research. It also seeks to facilitate more therapeutic options for the treatment and enhancement of patients' quality of life and to promote and strengthen the resources and scientific skills of the healthcare personnel involved in these trial!

We are so proud of our colleagues! Three of our amazing team members (Marta Zakrzewska, Malgorzata Gerjatowicz Osmanska, MD, MBA and Agata Sosnowska) have co-authored a state-of-the-art book on clinical research!   Our colleagues' work, "Clinical Trials: Practice, Law, Ethics," demonstrates their exceptional expertise and dedication to advancing the field. The book explores a comprehensive spectrum of interdisciplinary knowledge crucial for conducting clinical trials, including the historical evolution of bioethical issues, operational intricacies, latest Polish and EU regulations, and new topics such as data management, biostatistics, data protection, patient organization collaboration, and conducting research during crises like wars or pandemics.   Compared to its predecessor published in 2015, this updated edition reflects the significant expansion and evolution in clinical research. We are incredibly proud of our team's contributions, which not only highlight their individual achievements but also underscore the caliber of professionals we have at Pratia.   Their accomplishment is a testament to our commitment to working with top experts who are actively shaping and improving the clinical research landscape. Congratulations to our team members for this outstanding achievement. We are honored to have such talented individuals driving progress and excellence in the biomedical sciences.

Our representatives of Pratia Sirius recently had the privilege of attending the prestigious Somos Uno Gala. This gala is a beacon of hope and solidarity, tirelessly advocating for the inclusion and well-being of people with disabilities!   As Pratia, were deeply honored not only to participate but also contribute as sponsors to this remarkable event. As an organization dedicated to advancing clinical research, our involvement in the Somos Uno Gala aligns perfectly with our mission to make meaningful strides in healthcare. Last year's gala raised significant funding for the CANDIS project, a study led by Dr. Carlos Cabrera-Gálvez, a remarkable oncologists and an investigator at Pratia Sirius. The CANDIS project focuses on the prevalence of cancer in individuals with intellectual disabilities, highlighting the critical intersection of our research goals and the gala���s mission.   The Somos Uno Gala was organized in part by Mi Fundación Alex.  This organisation is particularly close to us, as it is the foundation of the owners of Clínicas Mi, the group of hospitals where Pratia Sirius units are located. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the organizers for their tireless efforts in orchestrating such an impactful gathering.   At Pratia, we believe in the power of collaboration and community engagement to drive positive change.
