Once again this year, almost 570 colleagues traveled to the #SummerDays - this time to #Berlin. In addition to the major information event, the Convista:Summit, exciting topics were once again on the agenda, presented in fascinating talks by speakers from various fields. The best summer moments were captured as part of a photo challenge. 😍 It was great to meet so many colleagues in person, exchange ideas and spend time together outside of work. 😎

Meet the New Faces at Convista Poland People! 🤩 Say hello to Bartek (Frontend Developer), Katarzyna (Office Assistant), and Marcin (IT Specialist). Each of them perfectly embodies the spirit of #Convista. Let’s hear a bit about their journeys so far. 👇 Bartek is diligently working on a cloud-based business application with a primary focus on staffing. The project, emphasizing code quality and efficiency, is built on Spring/Kotlin and GraphQL, with Bartek as part of the Frontend team using NextJS/React and TypeScript. The application has passed its MVP phase and already provides multiple functionalities. We conduct thorough code reviews with care, applying best software development principles such as DRY, KISS, YAGNI, SoC, and many more. This, in combination with automated testing, makes the code secure and easy to maintain despite its quite complex business requirements. "I think many people in IT would appreciate the way the project is being developed!" Bartek shares. Thanks to Katarzyna, our office runs like clockwork! 🕰️ She handles everything from administration to logistics at our main office in Wrocław. Her biggest challenge? Organizing company events - a completely new area for her! Despite this, she’s already identified several improvements to streamline our office processes. Kasia has quickly learned to navigate our internal systems and administrative procedures. Wow! This girl doesn't rest. 😉 "I’m incredibly impressed by the organizational culture and the friendly atmosphere at work. Everyone is so helpful and kind," she says. And we hear this often, but it never gets old. ❤️ Marcin, together with Paweł, Jacek Olbert, Mike and our international IT team, ensures all systems run smoothly and without issues. Thanks to their efforts, our users don't need to plan computer start-ups before breakfast! 😉 Marcin is still exploring his path and hasn’t specialized in a specific area yet. He’s looking forward to defining his career path with us ❤️ … and even learning German along the way. He's already picked up a lot, especially in work management using Jira and Matrix.
