  • $\begingroup$ @ChiralAnomaly Thanks, I will take a careful look and see if I can map it on to my question. $\endgroup$

$\begingroup$ In a finite system, the Goldstone modes will also gap out. The Goldstone mode spectra are expected to scale with the number of sites $N$ as $1/N^{1/d}$ in $d$ dimensions. The structure of the resulting finite-size spectrum is very well-understood, see for example arxiv.org/abs/1704.08622 $\endgroup$ Commented Nov 14, 2021 at 6:25
