But mathematics does not strive for necessity in the sense of necessary facts versus contingent facts in our world: Mathematics provides a whole bunch of geometries different from the Euclidean geometry. But mathematics does not ask which geometry explains best our observations in cosmology. | |

On the other hand a game is made by arbitrary rules. And the only purpose of a game is the pleasure of gaming. | |
