I’m realizing two points to this question: 1) this question is better suited for a psychological forum than a philosophical one; and 2) the responses so far, although thought out, do not seem to address the question in the way I expected which suggests I phrased it poorly. Your answer is closer to what I originally expected.

So philosophy is only about questions which are not empirically verifiable? ;-)
