    Saying, "You have the burden of proof, not me!" is shifting the burden of proof. There is a legitimate discussion about when such shifting is legit and when it is not legit. That's the whole argument about who has the burden of proof regarding any particular subject. Commented Nov 13, 2023 at 3:00
