A quick note as discussed with Denny that our custom Types for this will need to have special handling – in the orchestrator (special dereferencing, including the new L1234-S1 format), in the front-end (custom selector and renderers), and perhaps elsewhere – and so should be pre-defined Objects rather than created on-wiki.

Search results. We'd need to bump first in codesniffer to relax the required versions, then raise core's (and vendor's). No need for a change in Parsoid itself.

Note for those interested that this went live for Wikifunctions two weeks ago, per T349408. There'd be more to do for wikitext-based wikis, so this isn't "do it everywhere now", but it's a marker.
