Jennifer Gates Is Pregnant, Expecting Baby No. 2 with Husband Nayel Nassar

Jennifer Gates is adding to her family!

The 28-year-old daughter of billionaire Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates announced she's pregnant, expecting her second baby with husband Nayel Nassar.

The expecting mom shared the news on Instagram Thursday, sharing a photo where she cradles her bump in a blue dress with daughter Leila, 16 months, holding one of her hands.

"Leila, being promoted to big sister 💕," she captioned the photo.

In April, Jennifer enjoyed some quality time with her little girl as they enjoyed one of the soon-to-be mom of two's favorite hobbies together.

In the candid photo posted on her Instagram Story at an equestrian event, Leila could be seen taking a peek at the horses in the pen and their riders as she was being held up. The little girl, who wore a pink flower in her hair and a green sundress, appeared to look away from the horses for a brief moment at the camera.

“Leila checking out the itty bitty jumper division today,” Jennifer wrote over the photo.

Jennifer, who recently graduated from medical school and is set to become a pediatrician in New York City, and Nassar celebrated their daughter’s first birthday in February with a sentimental joint post on Instagram. 

The couple reflected on Leila's growth over the past year alongside photos of her hanging out at home with their dogs and playing with some toys.

"Can’t believe this girl made us parents one year ago today. Leila, you’ve brought indescribable joy to this world with your endless laughter, curiosity and love for all things animal🐴🐶!" Jennifer wrote in the caption.

"Happy birthday sweet girl, we love you unconditionally forever, and can’t wait to see what the next year will bring! 💗🥹✨♾️," she added.
