Olivia Munn and John Mulaney marry in intimate home wedding ceremony
Olivia Munn and John Mulaney are married!
The “X Men: Apocalypse” actress, 44, and stand-up comedian, 41, secretly tied the knot over the weekend at a friend’s home in New York state, People reported Wednesday.
Per the outlet, only their 2-year-old son Malcolm, whom they welcomed in November 2021, and a witness were in attendance.
Mulaney sparked rumors that he and Munn had tied the knot in June when he posted a photo of himself wearing a silver band on his ring finger – but quickly deleted the pic.
Reps for Mulaney and Munn did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Last week, Munn celebrated her birthday and wrote alongside an Instagram post of her appearing in good spirits, “What a year 🎂✨🥹🙏🏻.” She did not divulge any details about her forthcoming nuptials at the time.
The “Predator” star’s recent string of happy moments comes after a difficult year, however.
In March, Munn shared she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a mastectomy.
The “Newsroom” alum later shared that she went into medically-induced menopause because of her health struggles, underwent a hysterectomy and had to freeze her remaining eggs.
Mulaney has been very supportive of Munn amid her battle, writing via an Instagram message in March, “Thank you for fighting so hard to be here for us. Malc and I adore you. ❤️.”
The pair has been romantically involved since 2021.
However, the relationship had a controversial start as the former “Saturday Night Live” writer was in the middle of a divorce from his then-wife of six years, Anna Marie Tendler.
Mulaney maintained during a September 2021 “Late Night With Seth Meyers” appearance that he “moved out” of the home he shared with Tendler, 39, in October 2020, and, by the spring of 2021, he had “met and started to date a wonderful woman named Olivia.”
The comic held off on officially debuting his romance with Munn at a red carpet until three years after they started dating at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 14th Governors Awards in January.
