See the surprisingly casual way Paul Giamatti celebrated his Golden Globes 2024 win

He made In-N-Out the “in” spot on Golden Globes night.

While stars hit glittering Golden Globes afterparties on Sunday in Los Angeles, Paul Giamatti went straight to In-N-Out to celebrate.

The star of “The Holdovers” — who won an award for Best Actor in a Comedy — was seen in his tux at an In-N-Out Burger in Westwood, Calif., with his Golden Globe on the table amid orders of burgers and fries after leaving the Beverly Hilton press room.

When Giamatti arrived, people applauded, we hear.

The star was photographed by fan who captioned a shot of the Globes winner at the famed LA joint, “Pullin up to the Westwood In-N-Out w/ the Golden Globe is crazy.”

A source exclusively told Page Six that Giamatti was at the fast food mecca with his girlfriend, Clara Wong, as well as his manager, his agent and his publicist.

“They went for a celebratory meal… he’s a big In-N-Out fan, and was a great way to celebrate before the parties,” said a source familiar with the star.

Said the insider: “People clapped when he came in … it was near UCLA, so there were a lot of college kids.”

But the student crowd, “respectfully waited till he was done eating, and then asked him for pictures.”

We hear that Giamatti and his crew ordered six classic “double-doubles,” the spot’s famed double burger.

Said the source, “They finished in the press room” and headed straight to In-N-Out.

But spies also told Page Six that Giamatti attended some more upscale eateries after his win.

He was later spotted at two parties in Beverly Hills, thrown by his agency, UTA, as well as Hollywood studio NBCUniversal.

NBCUniversal’s Focus Features released “The Holdovers,” and the parent studio had a lot to celebrate as its Christopher Nolan epic, “Oppenheimer,” dominated the Globes.

At NBCUniversal’s party at Tommy’s Beverly Hills, Nolan and his partner Emma Thomas were seen lugging around their three Golden Globes, as guests also included the film’s Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt and Jack Quaid, plus studio boss Donna Langley, Comcast CEO Brian Roberts, Blunt’s husband John Krasinski and “The Holdovers” director Alexander Payne.

Blunt was spotted giving Giamatti a big hug. The duo starred together in Disney’s “Jungle Cruise” in 2021.

Over at La Dolce Vita in Beverly Hills, Giamatti was at a bash thrown by UTA — which celebrated its nearly 60 Golden Globe nominees and winners, including “Barbie” creators Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach, “Succession” star Matthew Macfadyen, “Anatomy of a Fall” director Justine Treit and “May December” producer Will Ferrell.

The Golden Globes party scene was smaller this year as the awards tried to bounce back, and Hollywood held its breath.

But fewer parties meant a higher concentration of stars at the bashes that did go down, as Netflix, NBCUniversal, Billboard and Moët & Chandon hosted parties.

Also on Sunday, we hear that CAA threw an intimate affair over at Chateau Marmont, and Jennifer Lawrence, Margot Robbie, Julianne Moore, and more, were seen headed into the famed hotel after the awards.

Billboard’s bash was inside the Beverly Hilton. One of its main attractions as the Globes’ official afterparty was that it was where the winners had to get their awards engraved, making it a starry scene.

At Netflix’s party, cute couple Bill Hader and Ali Wong sat together (Page Six exclusively reported they were an item back in 2022).

Controversial comedian Dave Chappelle — who was not nominated for an award in the Globes’ new stand-up category — attended the Netflix bash anyway, and was seen mingling with studio boss Ted Sarandos and rocker Lenny Kravitz.

Also at the party were Kevin Costner, Jason Segel, Elizabeth Debicki, Jon Batiste, Colman Domingo, Jon Hamm and more.

In the past — when the Golden Globes was under the auspices of the infamously sketchy, now-defunct Hollywood Foreign Press Association — there were so many parties afterwards at the Beverly Hilton alone, it was hard for to guests to scurry to all of them before the night was done.

HBO, Amazon, Fox and NBCUniversal would celebrate at the hotel that also housed the awards with over-the-top parties, (as did the Weinstein Company before its dramatic downfall).

That was in addition to the agency parties around town, and the night’s host would also usually have their own VIP affair.

Though if this year’s disastrous emcee, Jo Koy, hosted a bash, it might’ve been a party of one — judging by the reaction from the room during the show.
