Jun 1, 2017 at 6:13 comment added user5330 In context of Aussie as AWD is typically a softroader such as a Subaru Forester/Rav 4 etc - a road car that has off road ambitions. A 4x4 or 4WD is a heavier vechile designed for hard off road duties (Prado, Pajero, Landcrusier etc).
