John Stamos joined by son Billy, 6, playing the drums onstage at Beach Boys show

John Stamos shared a wholesome moment with his son, when little Billy joined his famous dad onstage at a Beach Boys concert July 5.

Stamos, 60, proudly posted a video of the father and son duo to his Instagram, writing: “Had a little help from my son BILLY on Good Vibrations last night – Wasn’t it nice! @thebeachboys.”

The clip shows Billy, 6, helping his dad perform a drum solo as he wears protective headphones. The little one previously played with the band in March 2023.

The “Full House” alum is touring on the Endless Summer Gold tour with the band.

The tour marks the band’s 50th anniversary of their album of the same name, which was released June 24, 1974. Stamos joined them onstage May 30 to June 20, and again July 5 to July 7.

He will return for another set of live shows from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1.

The band’s lineup has changed many times over the years. On this tour, it’s being led by founding member Mike Love and longtime member Bruce Johnson. Glen Campbell also joins them on tour, as he temporarily replaced original member Brian Wilson in the mid-60s.

Stamos has a longstanding history performing with the Beach Boys, dating to 1985.

He’d go on to appear in their music video for the song “Kokomo” in 1988, which led to a resurgence in the band’s popularity. Once “Kokomo” became a hit on pop charts, Stamos got the Beach Boys to make a cameo on “Full House,” which led to continuous collaborations between the two.

The band’s first appearance on the show was in Season 2’s “Beach Boy Bingo,” where they played “Kokomo” in the Tanner family’s living room. Stamos, as Uncle Jesse Katsopolis, played the drums as the family joined in.

The band’s next cameo was in 1992, coinciding with the new version of their song “Forever,” which Stamos sang lead vocals for on their album “Summer in Paradise.” The Beach Boys’ “Full House” appearances provided promotions for their song releases with Stamos.

Following the death of Bob Saget, who played Danny Tanner on “Full House,” Stamos performed with the band to pay tribute to the late actor.

Clips from Jesse’s “Forever” music video and the Beach Boys’ scenes with Saget were played during the Saget tribute video at the Beach Boys’ Sixty Years of the Sounds of Summer concert Aug. 7, 2022.

Saget died in his sleep after hitting his head, according to authorities. He was 65.

Stamos, meanwhile, has Billy with wife Caitlin McHugh Stamos, who he married in 2018. That April, he told People that being a first-time dad has been emotional for him.

“I cry a lot. It’s more beautiful than anyone told me it would be. I’ve been waiting a long time,” Stamos said at the time. “I think he’s got some good hair going. But they say it’s going to fall out and come back. I don’t know…”

The actor also spoke about fatherhood after his son’s birth on an episode of “On Air with Ryan Seacrest.”

“I’m looking out the window right now and everything is greener and bluer,” he said before making a few jokes. “I see all kinds of different colors. Different poop colors. There’s green, there’s yellow, I saw some blue this morning which I thought was weird.”

He then went on to talk about his late father, who Billy is named after.

“I hope I live up to what my dad did. You know how you get to a point where you go, ‘My dad’s just a man?’ I never got to that point. He was always bigger than life to me so I’m happy to honor him with our little Billy,” Stamos revealed. “I’m starting to cry right now, Ryan, I’m so emotional.”
