Neben der Verwendung von Punktwolken zur Erstellung der BIM Modelle in ALLPLAN nutzen STÄBLEINARCHITEKTEN Imerso noch weiter zur: • Qualitätskontrolle der BIM-Modellierung und zur Erhöhung der BIM Genauigkeit, • Prüfung, ob die geplante Modifikationen effizient vor Ort umgesetzt werden können, • Prüfung der Montagegenauigkeit und Maßhaltigkeit der Bauteile vor Ort. 🎯Die Ergebnisse sprechen für sich: 1. Optimierte Entwurfsvarianten und verifizierte Lösungsvorschläge für den Kunden bereits in den frühen Projektphasen.  2. Präzise Datengrundlagen, welche die Gewerkekoordination verbessert, sowie eine effiziente Kontrolle während der Bauausführung ermöglicht.  3. Besides using point clouds to generate BIM models in ALLPLAN, STÄBLEINARCHITEKTEN use Imerso to further: • Quality control their BIM models and raise their accuracy, • Verify if the planned modifications can be implemented efficiently onsite, • Check the assembly accuracy and dimensional accuracy of the components onsite. 🎯The results speak for themselves: 1. Delivery of optimized design choices and verified solution proposals for the clients already in the early project phases. 2. Accurate data basis, which improves the coordination of trades and enables efficient controls during construction.  3. Ability to provide the client with accurate as-built documentation before, during and after construction. 📐STÄBLEINARCHITEKTEN rolled out this approach from pharmaceutical and residential to cultural heritage preservation projects. 🎤 "Each of these projects has its own unique challenges: from preserving cultural heritage to working in a pharmaceutical plant where production cannot stop. The types of the project differ greatly, but the fundamental challenge of recording accurate as-built documentation and planning modifications as precisely and efficiently as possible remains the same," says Ulla Stäblein.     Tracking #Construction progress through frequent quality inspections helps avoid costly risks and unpleasant surprises. But current methods of doing this are slow and ineffective. ❌ About 5% of all built elements are checked in a typical construction project, using manual and visual inspection approaches. How are contractors like Betonmast checking 100% of the built elements at their sites automatically across dozens of projects? 🤯🤯🤯 Have a look below! 📌 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 In the GT5 project, Betonmast was tasked with balancing the project’s #SustainableConstruction goals alongside its innovative design. The project demanded complex installations, placing high demands on execution quality. Structural openings and recesses were critical components to build in accordance with the project’s BIM specifications. This is in order to avoid any errors leading to rapid escalations of costs from delays and replanning. In 3 weeks, the #Imerso was presented to the team and rolled out into practice. The team implemented a weekly routine of scanning the site and running the data analysis in Imerso. A significant benefit of this practice is that the digital twin keeps the #BIM plans updated with any site changes.     ❗ New tech for an old challenge: Verifying Safety Compliance 🔥 Various fire-blocking solutions are available to prevent the spread of fire, smoke, and gas between areas. However, these systems must be installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions; otherwise, the fire rating will be compromised. So, how do you ensure correct installation? Let’s explore an example below.⤵⤵⤵ 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐞: Nyt Hospital Nordsjælland (𝐍𝐇𝐍), 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤 NHN is a hospital project owned by Capital Region of Denmark. It features advanced operating rooms with radiation-shielded walls and intricate technical equipment layers. Construction #FireSafety risks on this project: 1. Installation of metal stud framings in the Fire Section and Fire Cell walls. Metal stud framings must maintain specific distances from each other to uphold the intended fire rating. Often, the next teams face challenges installing planned technical equipment on the walls, resorting to cutting metal studs to make space. Thus, compromising the fire rating 😞 2. A common work-sequencing conflicts Installing the fire-rated wall studs requires preparing encasing boxes. Those frame the openings, where technical installations of a certain size should go through the wall, complying with the specifications for a proper fire seal. It’s required to have these openings prepared before the installation of technical services. However, doing this requires the service layouts to be accurately overlaid on the partition drawings in advance. This is rarely done. Design teams are often still optimising layouts during the construction phase, and even small changes to the layout of the services affect the placement of the metal wall studs. 🛠️ Solution: NHN invested in #Imerso’s jobsite supervision AI to monitor construction quality proactively. Within 3 months of using Imerso towards fire-rated wall installations, the system already placed a variety of potential issues on the radar, so the team could prevent these from becoming a problem. 🎯 Outcome: The team can easily monitor the installation of fire-rated wall studs on-site with millimeter precision by recording the exact placement of metal stud framing in fire partition walls. Then, Imerso compares it to the current BIM plans. This enables them to quickly pinpoint any potential issues that may arise with planned openings or technical elements that conflict with the current positioning of the metal studs. The team can then use this valuable information to proactively find solutions and prevent any future problems.
