YITH Product Add-ons & Extra Options is a versatile and complete tool for the creation and sale of advanced products or services and the addition of custom options to your product pages.

You can create endless blocks of options to display in all products or only in specific products or categories, and choose from different types of product add-ons: radios, drop-down menus, text boxes, checkboxes, etc. Set a price for each option, offer it for free or discount the product price when the option is selected.

This product add-ons plugin is a simple solution for selling customizable products (e.g., if you sell t-shirts or jewelry, you can insert a radio button to let the user choose whether or not to customize the product and if they choose “Yes” show a text box to enter the text to be printed or engraved) or products with advanced add-ons (e.g., if you sell a box of products, you can let the user choose the number of products to include, charge extra for additional products, and have the user choose the shipping service from a list of available couriers).

Choose whether to replace the product price with the updated price including options, and whether to display a price summary box on the product page

Set the default position for name and description
For each block, choose how many options the user can select and whether to set a number (exact, minimum, or maximum) of options to select before paying

Installatie

Belangrijk: Allereerst moet je de WooCommerce-plug-in downloaden en activeren, die verplicht is voor YITH WooCommerce Product-add-ons om te kunnen werken.

Unzip het gedownloade zip file.
Upload de plugin map in de folder wp-content/plugins/ van je WordPress site.
Activeer YITH WooCommerce Product Add-Ons vanaf pagina Plug-ins.

Configuratie

YITH WooCommerce Product-add-ons zullen een nieuw tabblad toevoegen met de naam “Producten-add-ons” in het menu-item “YIT-plug-ins”. Daar vind je alle Yithemes-plug-ins met snelle toegang tot de instellingspagina voor invoegtoepassingen.

FAQ

Kan ik optiegroepen toevoegen aan variabele producten?: Ja, de plug-in maakt het mogelijk om dat te doen. Opties kunnen globaal op product worden geconfigureerd, maar niet op één enkele variant.
Kan ik algemene opties voor een enkel product uitschakelen?: Ja, je kunt het, maar niet singulier. Vanaf de productbewerkingspagina kun je het gebruik van “alle” algemene optiegroepen uitschakelen.

simply, cause you dont have to create hundreds or even thousands of variations. no need. saved me months of work. my client has pages with 7-8 variations, each variation has 3-5 options. thats easily thousands of variations per product. Yith solving it in a very smooth way.

For being a free plugin, it’s outrageously huge in functionality. Ik think most shopt will have enough using the free version. Just now I had an issue with an update and the Support team helped quicly and professionaly. We are thinking about bying the full version for 120 euro per year if we really need it. On its own it’s a great plugin I think every online shop owner needs to make the product options a whole lot better.

Everything worked great. Had some issue with pricing not updating but Support got it fixed within a few days. Otherwise really easy to setup and customize add-ons. Worth the little extra money compared to others.

We have used two of the YITH Premium plugins, which in principle fit into our online solution, using DIVI (:O :scared:)… we actually had a lot of problems, but a couple of queries to support were able to solve most of the concurrent problems. I think they are on the right track and that they even make an incredible effort to speak your language. Thank you.
