  1. upload the plugin files to the directory ‘wp-content/plugins/booking-system-edoobox’ or install the plugin directly from the WordPress plugin screen
  2. activate the plugin via the ‘Plugins\’ screen in your WordPress system.
  3. go to the edoobox booking system settings page in your WordPress installation and complete the settings
  4. navigeer naar de post waarin je je aanbiedingen wil plaatsen
  5. klik op het kalenderpictogram om de shortcode voor WordPress te genereren en in te voegen

Worden “verouderde cursussen” weergegeven of met verouderde inhoud?

De meest waarschijnlijke oorzaak van dit probleem is dat je een caching plugin (WP Cache / WP Rocket) gebruikt die de dynamische pagina-inhoud opslaat. De WordPress plugin kan dus niet de nodige inhoud op de pagina updaten/tonen. Om dit te doen, wis de cache van de pagina zodat de huidige inhoud wordt weergegeven.

Cursussen op de homepage worden wel weergegeven maar kunnen niet worden aangeklikt?

Om de WordPress plugin van edoobox te laten werken op de startpagina, moet het root attribuut worden ingesteld in de shortcode. Zie de volgende shortcode als voorbeeld:
[edbs_panel url=”” root=”https://example.com/a-page-with-a-shortcode” … ]
Met het root attribuut in de shortcode wordt een pad ingesteld waarop de subpagina’s van edoobox worden geopend.
Deze functie kan worden gebruikt op elke pagina, maar is vereist op de startpagina, blogpagina’s en mogelijk op andere pagina’s die geen deel uitmaken van de standaard WordPress.

Shortcode werkt niet!

Waarschijnlijk heb je een typefout gemaakt. Merk op dat de korte code edbs_panel is. Snelle codes moeten altijd een spatie hebben voor de sluitingshaakje. [edbs_panel ]

Tip: Maak de shortcodes aan via de edoobox backend onder Preview/Share.

Je kunt in de WordPress plugin back-end onder Pagina indexering controleren of de pagina vermeld staat. Als de pagina niet vermeld staat, probeer dan de handmatige zoekopdracht te starten door op de knop te klikken. Als de pagina nog steeds niet wordt weergegeven, wordt het paginatype waarschijnlijk niet ondersteund.

Hoe gebruik ik de shortcodes in verschillende talen?

In de shortcode kan het taalattribuut eenvoudig worden uitgebreid. Het volgende voorbeeld:
[edbs_paneltaal=”en” … ]
Zoals je ziet, moet alleen het attribuut “taal” worden ingevuld met de bijbehorende taalafkorting.

Einfaches Plugin und super Support

Habe seit längerem edoobox bei uns im Einsatz und die Integration via iFrame gelöst. Da ich Wordpress verwende habe ich nun das Plugin verbunden. Funktioniert super und alle Seiten sind auch für die Suchmaschinen auffindbar. Ein echter Mehrwert für uns. Das Plugin übernimmt auch gleich das Design von unserer Webseite. Edoobox ist echt ein starkes Tool um die Kurse bei uns auszuschreiben.

Super Plugin, einfache Benutzung

Super Plugin, war sehr schnell eingerichtet und meine Kurse waren direkt online ersichtlich. Mit edoobox sind wir in der Verwaltung der Kurse viel effizienter und bietet viele coole Funktionen

Gutes Plugin, Super Support

Einfaches Backend, mit guter Übersicht (speziell seit dem neuen Update)! Definitiv über einem simplen iFrame zu bevorzugen. Kleine Änderungen im Plugin-Code lassen sich auch relativ einfach umsetzen. Und bei Fragen steht der Support auch schnell zur Hilfe.

Gute Idee, leider nicht gut umgesetzt.

Das Plugin verspricht viel, aber hält leider nur wenig. Gerade für Anwender die Ihr SEO boosten wollen, wäre dieses Plugin im Zusammenhang mit Edoobox sehr interessant. Die aktuelle Einbindung per Iframe ist gerade im Zusammenhang mit SEO, einfach nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Zum aktuellen Zeitpunkt ist das Plugin aber noch total buggy. Designs werden nur fehlerhaft übernommen, versucht man 2 Kategorien per Shortcode in eine Seite einzubinden, wird die Seite unbrauchbar und in manchen Fällen auch nicht mehr editierbar (z.B. mit Elementor). Da muss man dann evtl. seine mühsam gestaltete Unterseite neu aufsetzen. Weiterhin verhalten sich Tabellen die per Plugin /shortcode eingebunden wurden nicht mehr responsiv. Gerade in Zeiten von “Mobile First” sehr ärgerlich. Hier sollten die Entwickler schnellstens Abhilfe schaffen. Leider kann die Hotline keinen Zeitpunkt nennen wann hieran gearbeitet und ob überhaupt noch daran gearbeitet wird. Eine bessere Kommunikation mit den Kunden wäre hier wünschenswert. Wie gesagt, Idee ist wirklich gut, Umsetzung leider mangelhaft.
