Job Title: Legal Assistant

Position Overview

Insulet is looking to add a highly motivated Legal Assistant in the UK to join our expanding EMEA Legal Team. This position is primarily responsible for delivery of broad-based support to legal department activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support for EMEA Legal Team.
  • Prepare simple commercial contracts, NDAs, and other legal documents.
  • Support maintenance of internal policies in collaboration with other departments (Compliance, Human Resources).
  • Assist with implementing and managing the legal department’s document management repositories, contract management system, distributor onboarding tool and other information repositories to promote efficiency and centralize key templates, policies, processes, memos, etc.
  • Manage vendor and law firm onboarding and invoicing, including legal department invoicing and spend tracking platform.
  • Support implementation and management of digital tools and software used by legal team for legal operations and optimizing other internal legal processes.
  • Actively work on improving processes with the goal of positively impacting the legal team as Insulet grows and scales.
  • Provide administrative support to the broader Legal group as needed (Data Privacy, Compliance).
  • Perform other related duties and ad hoc projects, such as supporting internal and external audits.
  • Provide general administrative support such as mailing/shipping, obtaining document signatures, legalization of legal documents, etc.

Education And Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a legal assistant role or similar role.
  • Legal assistant experience in an in-house corporate legal department is a plus but not required.

Preferred Skills And Competencies

  • Ability to take initiative, multi-task, prioritize multiple duties and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Solid organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work alone and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with web technologies (DocuSign, SharePoint, Zoom, etc.).
  • Fluency in German and/or French is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

  • General office environment; may sit for long periods of time.
