Duration: 5-6 months Type: Non Thesis Weekly presence: 40 hours per week You will support the manufacturing engineering team in the optimization of the handover between the manufacturing process and industrialization process or business continuation. The assignment will provide hands-on training in manufacturing engineering and industrialization while working closely with experienced professionals. Your role:
Identify and mitigate business risks by investigating production issues/complaints, collaborating with development, and ensuring the agreed manufacturing requirements are met.
Take ownership of implementing significant improvements to enhance business continuity and contribute to the seamless hand-over phase in product development life cycle management (PDLM).
You're the right fit if:
You are studying towards your Bachelor degree (3rd year) in: Industrial Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering with an affinity towards Processes.
You are fluent in verbal and written in both Dutch and English.
You have a Hands-on mentality, not afraid to speak up and flourish working in a team environment.
IMPORTANT: Part of our selection procedure is a HireVue Assessment. We are not able correspond the outcome of this HireVue Assessment but will use this as extra selection criteria. Our intern remuneration package:
Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net
Paid holidays per internship term.
