Your Mission:

As the Head of Data & Analytics, you'll be instrumental in driving FRISS' global data strategy, working closely with the COO to shape our future direction. Your mission is clear: harness the power of data and AI to provide invaluable insights, enhance our products, and unlock new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of FRISS' overall strategic plan, ensuring our data & AI initiatives are aligned with our business objectives.
• Oversee the analysis of complex datasets to extract meaningful insights that inform key decisions and drive business impact.
• Drive the development and implementation of predictive modeling, AI solutions, and advanced analytics to support strategic initiatives.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies to safeguard accuracy, security, and compliance.
• Lead the development of business intelligence dashboards and tools, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Keep abreast of emerging analytics technologies, recommending and implementing tools that enhance our analytics capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree: In computer science, mathematics, econometrics, data science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven track record in a leadership role within AI, Analytics, or data-driven functions.
• Ability to align AI/Analytics initiatives with business goals.
• Familiarity with the insurance industry, fraud detection, and risk mitigation would be an advantage.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a history of driving business impact through data insights.
• A background in data architecture principles and practices would be highly advantageous for this role.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with a knack for building and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex insights to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in analytics tools and business intelligence platforms.
• EU work permit.
• Excellent English language proficiency, both written and verbal.

What we offer you:

• Flexible hours.
• Receive a gross monthly salary between € 6.500, - and € 8.500, - (based on full-time), in line with knowledge and experience.
• 26 vacation days.
• 8% holiday allowance.
• Pension & phone budget. Lunch in our brasserie for a personal contribution.
• A travel allowance of €0.23 net per kilometer (or NS business card) and enjoy free parking at our office.
• Fixed expense allowance of €72 gross per month (based on full-time employment).
• Embrace a hybrid work model, where you split your time between our office in Utrecht and working from home (50/50), including a work-from-home allowance.
