BASIC® - Designer - Argentina Remote

The Product Designer is an imperative part of the BASIC team and helps to provide support to one of its major clients, Google. You work remotely with a large team and are ready to contribute by doing whatever it takes to meet and even exceed the client's needs. This includes designing experiences that set the standards for others to follow. You do this through conceptual direction, visual design, production, sketching, prototyping, and planning. You are design focused, detail-oriented, and excellent at collaborating and multitasking. You have experience working within existing design systems, and you are eager to be part of a team that makes things come to life.

This special someone will regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment and will be involved in design, digital experience, eCommerce and lifestyle, and technology content to create experiences that deeply connect with people. Leadership is exciting to you but you’re also willing to follow others because you understand that great ideas can come from anywhere. You possess a strong design intuition and want to continue to learn, grow and challenge yourself. You also have a strong desire to ensure that clients are extremely satisfied with our services and products. In addition, you possess strong problem-solving skills and a track record of success. You will be dealing with multiple personality types, and need to be able to adapt based on the person you are working and communicating with.

In your role, you will report to the Design Director, who will drive the strategy and direction for the creative and design team. You will support the strategic goals of the company by focusing on the success of these activities and assisting with meeting the short and long-term objectives of the organization.

This role is based in Argentina working with the BASIC US team. You must have existing citizenship in Argentina.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with a team of 15+ creatives, working remotely with a larger team of 50+ talented people.
• Contribute to the design and production of large-scale digital projects including websites, banners, branding, content, design systems, and more.
• Build presentations, craft documentation and deliver asset kits to developers and other team members.
• Acts as a leader and a team player by contributing to the creative execution of the company’s efforts and putting the client and the team before yourself.
• Bring business strategy to creative execution to drive results.
• Responsible for bringing a point-of-view with fresh perspectives to the team.
• Work with minimal processes in place, solving problems by being optimistic and using proactive thought processes and skills.
• Collaborate to ensure that the company’s services and products always exceed the clients’ expectations.
• Work across all departments of BASIC, the client, and other stakeholders to achieve the desired results and meet the objectives of the company.
• Support and grow in the role by actively seeking out and proposing ideas to better improve company operations.
• Take on other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What You'll Bring

• Knowledge, communicative and analytical skills equivalent to those normally obtained through receipt of a Bachelor's Degree in a design, visual arts or a related field, or equivalent years of additional related professional experience.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in design and interactive work.
• A high level of mastery with modern design tools … like Indesign, Illustrator, and Figma!
