The Litigation team of Florent gladly contributed to the Dutch chapter of Lexology In-Depth: International Arbitration – Edition 15 (https://lnkd.in/e6ce8TzS). jan willem Bitter (Bitter Advocacy), Yvette Borrius and Lot Bakker authored this year’s chapter for the Netherlands. The guide provides an analytical overview of what has occurred in each of the important arbitration jurisdictions during the past year, capturing recent developments while putting them in the context of each jurisdiction's legal arbitration structure and selecting the most important matters for comment.

Today, on behalf of Florent, Kees van de Meent and I attended the joint conference of R3 Association of Business Recovery Professionals and INSOL Europe in London together with many other colleagues from the restructuring field. Compliments to the organising committee for the very interesting programme!
Op donderdag 27 juni 2024 mochten Lidewei Lankreijer en Pieter van den Brink spreken tijdens het symposium ‘Collectivisering in het privaatrecht’ georganiseerd door de Universiteit van Amsterdam - Faculteit der Rechtsgeleerdheid. Lidewei en Pieter hebben gesproken over missie gedreven ondernemingen, steward-ownership en de Mission Lock waarover zij Tony’s Chocolonely hebben geadviseerd. Het was een mooie middag in het Koninklijk Instituut voor de Tropen met interessante sprekers (uit de wetenschap en de praktijk) en boeiende onderwerpen. #symposium #privaatrecht #werkenbijflorent
Met ingang van 1 juli 2024 zijn Kees van de Meent en Joris Oster toegetreden tot het bestuur van Florent als managing partners. Samen met Lisette Rikkers (COO) vormen zij het nieuwe bestuur van Florent. Kees blijft naast zijn bestuurstaak werkzaam als advocaat gespecialiseerd in restructuring, insolvency en cross-border asset recovery. Joris zet naast zijn rol in het bestuur zijn werkzaamheden als advocaat gespecialiseerd in employment voort.
