🚀 Growth in Deals Above €10 Million Online deal sourcing has become mainstream, and the increase in deal sizes on Dealsuite clearly reflects this shift. The number of companies on Dealsuite has grown significantly in recent years, leading to a rapid increase in deals due to the acceptance of online deal sourcing. We are also noticing a shift towards larger deals. Of course, the fast growth of the Dealsuite network and ongoing improvements to our platform have also contributed. 😊 The proportion of companies with a revenue of over €10 million has increased significantly in the past two years: from 20% in 2022 to approximately 30% now! (Note: this may well align with the distribution of all companies globally, as there are simply fewer large firms than smaller ones). Traditionally, mergers and acquisitions were conducted through the closed networks of M&A professionals. Discretion remains crucial, as companies often do not want the outside world to know they are (open) for sale. However, with the advent of “professional-only” online platforms like Dealsuite, deal sourcing has been particularly transformed. M&A professionals now have direct access to a much larger network of potential buyers and sellers, greatly enhancing their deal sourcing services for their clients. This aligns with a general trend that online searching and buying are becoming more commonplace, by now even in the most conservative B2B markets. 📈 Data from our platform: • Started with companies in the €1 to €5 million revenue range when we launched Dealsuite in 2017. The volume in this segment continues to grow fast. • In the last two years (since 2022), the percentage of companies with revenue above €10 million being offered on our platform has risen from 20% to 30%. • We also see more deals exceeding €100 million. For me, these are signs that M&A deal sourcing is rapidly evolving into a more accessible and transparent market, all in line with our vision and mission.
