Yesterday we (Hylke Koopmans and Bastian Chall ) had our Conference Hotel Group management meeting and this time we stayed at the Dutch Design Hotel Artemis in Amsterdam ! Thank you so much Martin Hoed for the warm welcome and lovely experience ! The hotel is perfectly located in between the Airport and the City centre, is having massive parking facilities and with public transport and / or hotel shuttle this is an easy one. With 256 bedrooms, 11 meeting rooms (largest 222m2) and a nice terrace & restaurant a great spot to catch up for meetings, events etc. Nice to see the exposition of various Dutch artists in the hotel, very colorful and creative ! HY5 from Hyatt Regency Amsterdam ! Lovely summer event where this former children’s hospital (which is now one of my favorite hotels in town) is making the connection to the Stichting Steun Emma Kinderziekenhuis. Of course for kids in hospital there is nothing nicer than make sure they get the best time possible, watching soccer matches, have some fun and receive small gifts! So we wrapped some nice stuff for them and hope they will enjoy ! They created a lovely book with stories of former patients (kids) ‘ tomorrow is today’ and how they experienced their time to fight to get better as well how their future plans have been changed, the future they had in mind as well their parents ! But key, the came out healthy ! Thank you David Bader and lovely to meet you as the new GM ans of course thanks to team Hyatt, Nienke Badia, Jenci Declerck & Erik Bornmann. TXS for the invite. Wow wow wow ! What a great 2 nights at Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento ! The 3 white round towers connected with a massive meeting centre ! We love this place Ana Carrasco, your location, facilities and the entire team of the hotel rocks ! This 5 star hotel with 295 bedrooms and 28 meeting rooms (largest 1024m2) feels like a large boutique hotel due to the layout out and the nice decorated restaurants and bars. Of course our partner in crime for the trip is Ann Marie Gildea , thank you so much my dear ! It’s all about people, partnerships and friendship! Muchas Muchas gracias, also great to learn more about the Barcelo Hotel Group as you have so many lovely places in your collection ! Than of course our super men in Spain (and the Islands) and his team, Khalil Bitar from Spain for events ! Thank you so much, a bike tour through the city, boat tour, transfers, workshops, best tapas bar in Seville and a stunning closing dinner at Abades Triana ! Lovely view, food and wines ! Pleased to have this team together for the CHG summer trip ! What a lovely lunch and networking event at our office of Conference Hotel Group ! Accor came over to WOW us and I must say .. they rocked ! Well done Georgette Willems of to organize this lunch ! Head chef Andrea Malavisi of the recently opened Ibis Style Rotterdam Ahoy produced a stunning lunch (primi, secundi & dolce) with fresh Italian dishes, home made pasta etc. Bellissimo ! In two groups we networked and shared information to grow business and friendship and partnership ! During these rainy days there is nothing nicer than having the Spanish sunshine coming over to our office of Conference Hotel Group ! This resort in the south of Spain (not far from Alicante Airport) is offering 192 bedrooms, 18 meeting rooms (largest 410m2) and is totally refurbished ! Looking great ! Looking for a paradise in the South of France .. ? The Hôtel du Palais in Biarritz could be the perfect luxury spot for you ! Lovely to have a virtual meeting with Claire Van Walleghem and part of our team yesterday and see the great elements of this hotel. The venue started in 1854, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and is having 142 bedrooms and 9 meeting rooms with a total of 500M2. All with natural daylight and lovely Ocean view. 40 to 70 persons is the perfect group size ! Spain is arround the corner and for people that are brave enough.. try to surf the waves ! Lovely ! Next stop yesterday afternoon .. the Delta Hotels by Marriott Frankfurt Offenbach ! Thank you Zarifa Huseynova for the warm welcome and the tour ! Busy days now with IMEX but pleased you could show some of the elements of your hotel to Ada Giuglea, Hylke Koopmans and myself ! 223 very spacious bedrooms, 9 meeting rooms (largest 300m2) and a terrace for the sunny days !
