We are privileged to have had a training day with some of the students of the Environmental Science Faculty in the University of Lagos. The students were given a brief theoretical and practical training on the use and importance of Modern Formwork and Scaffolding in the Nigerian Construction Industry as they soon become new entrants into the industry. They also got to experience the versatility of the PERI DUO Formwork System as they were able to set it up with little instructions and guidance as a column, wall and slab formwork. PERI Nigeria understands the importance of education and we believe it is on of the only ways to create sustainable change in the Construction Industry. Every year, we contribute to the construction of schools worldwide using innovative technology like PERI TwistBlocks to enhance affordability and efficiency 🌍 We're pleased to share that the very first PERI school in Kenya recently opened its doors for over 200 children 👏 The PERI TwistBlock, an interlocking and reusable concrete building block, is crafted by hand using the PERI TwistBlock mould. This helped to open up job opportunities in the local area as the 7,000 that were used to build the school were produced by local factories.
