Apple, Bing Maps Draw Latest Never-Search Tech Patent Suits

Apple Inc. and Microsoft Corp. were hit with separate lawsuits alleging their respective suites of Apple Maps and Bing Maps web-based products and services infringe patents for maps that show and link detailed information with points of interest.

Never-Search Inc.—which like Apple is based in Cupertino, Calif.—alleges both companies’ products infringe US Patent Nos. 7,388,519; 8,219,318; 9,177,330; 9,599,479; 10,509,810; and 11,372,903; while Bing Maps and predecessor products also are accused of infringing US Patent Nos. 9,152,981 and 11,086,910, according to complaints filed Monday against Apple and Microsoft in the US District Court for ...
