Note: This applies to the following Razer Blade (QHD - 240 Hz) models:

Step-by-step process

  1. Open Nvidia Control Panel.
  2. Go to "Manage Display mode".
  3. Select "NVIDIA GPU only" under "Display Mode".

  4. Go to "Set up G-SYNC".
  5. Tick "Enable G-SYNC, G-SYNC Compatible".

Enable G-Sync on external monitors

Note: This applies to all Razer Blade models with NVIDIA GPUs installed if paired with a G-Sync HDR monitor. See G-Sync System Requirements for more information.

Step-by-step process

Note: G-Sync is not available via HDMI connection.

  1. Connect the external monitor to the Razer Blade via USB-C.
  2. Make sure the Razer Blade's USB-C port uses dGPU (Nvidia GPU).
    1. Right-click on your Desktop then click “Display Settings”.
    2. Click “Advanced display settings” under Multiple Displays. 
  3. Open Nvidia Control Panel.
  4. Go to "Manage Display mode".
  5. Select "Optimus" under "Display Mode".

  7. Tick "Enable G-SYNC, G-SYNC Compatible".
