1the third option is interest free?– Kate GregoryCommented Mar 25 at 14:14

correct. 5k quarterly interest free.– sg552Commented Mar 25 at 14:29

1@sg552 not exactly. You pay 50K in 10 quarters, instead of 45K now. That's ~11% total interest.– littleadvCommented Mar 25 at 18:01

I feel like this is a homework problem.– Pete B.Commented Mar 25 at 19:10

1It could be homework, though it's not rare for a vendor to offer this kind of choice (though the vendor may not offer all three options, and the numbers will vary). Footnote: If you take any kind of loan, it's always good to make sure that it will permit you to pay off the balance at any time without additional fees, and ideally to make sure that it allows making additional payments against principal if you happen to have the cash to do so and want to pay it off faster.– keshlamCommented Mar 25 at 22:04

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. united-states), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
