3I’m voting to close this question because it's a question about interpretation of State law, not personal finance.– littleadvCommented Dec 6, 2023 at 22:04

How that law gets handled relates to how I would handle my personal finances on this. If somebody can advise me on how the program is administered, I can make a more informed decision. I'm not asking if this program is definitely coming back, I'm only asking how does it get it's approval, because when it exists it makes this personal expenditure much more affordable.– PyrotechnicalCommented Dec 6, 2023 at 22:46

Additionally, there are plenty of questions on here asking for interpretation of federal laws that affect folks' personal finance. So I'm not sure why this isn't acceptable.– PyrotechnicalCommented Dec 6, 2023 at 22:47

2We're usually discussing interpretation of tax laws as they pertain to individuals, not limits of executive authority under the state law. Maybe rephrase the question a bit, but even then you're asking for speculation about the future - even if the governor can legally reauthorize it, there's no guarantee that he would.– littleadvCommented Dec 6, 2023 at 22:50

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. united-states), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
