Great new feature! Does this also notify for new comments on the answers? If yes, do I have to favorite my own questions to get these notifications?– Chris LercherCommented Jun 4, 2010 at 2:38

@chris indirectly; the LastActivityDate which gets pushed up to the post level is only edits or new answers, but the recent page DOES include new comments in its tab counts.– Jeff AtwoodCommented Jun 4, 2010 at 3:16

6According to this meta.stackexchange.com/a/53580/161449 which has the last edit date of Jan 2012, it is not working. Which is correct, this answer, or more up-to-date linked one? (I personally do not recall getting any notification on my favourites, but that might be because they are old and do not change)– Andrew SavinykhCommented Feb 22, 2013 at 7:10

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. stack-overflow), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
