    I'd reason it is a trivial modification, and no notice is needed. If you wan't to know who of us is right you'll have to go to court....

    @Luuklag True, ultimately; but it's not hard to construct examples in which this change alters significantly the meaning of the comment: for instance comments that contain a pun with OP's username, or use OP's name in the @-notification as part of a sentence. Commented Sep 24, 2021 at 14:46
