Sep 3, 2021 at 11:44 comment added David Buck I flagged this answer as NAA, and left the canned comment. The answer has been improved. The flag has been marked helpful (so that part of the system seems to assume it's an improvement), but the canned comment is still there and still unflaggable. At the very least the helpful NAA flag should allow me to flag the comment I raised.
Sep 2, 2021 at 13:33 comment added KorvinStarmast @kristinalustig This bug-feature adds noise, not signal, to any SE site it erupts on. The value proposition to SE sites over 'the rest of the internet" is "more signal, less noise" - this particular addition is utterly at odds with that core value. If SE wants people to get frustrated with the community mod function - which is a key element to SE sites running smoothly - this is a fine example of how to dis-incentivize unpaid volunteers from spending their time in that necessary function. I expect that you are in the fix it team, but management needs to hear this message.

Aug 27, 2021 at 13:32 comment added Thomas Markov @kristinalustig Like if I am voting to delete an answer based on a lack of meaningful citations/support, I don't really see the system being able to reliably determine when the quality of citations and support has been improved, that's something reviewers have to determine. Anyway, thanks for looking into it.
Aug 27, 2021 at 13:28 comment added kristinalustig StaffMod I uh... share your skepticism? This particular part of the codebase seems pretty old so I'm doing some archaeological digging and asking around to figure out why we are making this claim here and what in particular it pertains to.
