@amask-wearingarachnid Ok that was a bit confusing, because now your post shows code sample in lower case. So this is just a subset of the larger feature request to allow lower case in headers. You helped it to become possible for code blocks, and now we need them to get it working for everything else.

Why would you want this? And why don't you use do CODE SAMPLE instead of code sample if you want code in headers to be uppercased? See this: meta.stackexchange.com/a/357019/391772 and this: meta.stackexchange.com/a/357525/391772

I keep forgetting there's two ways of doing code samples (inline vs. blocks) :) Still, doesn't seem a bug to me since everything else is uppercased too... and I wonder how many people will put code samples a.) in a table and b.) in a table header. I still like the way it is now, at least that looks consistent. | |
