Although I'm very happy with the removal of the banner appearance, I'm forced to agree with this: the new styling is not differentiated enough. It needs another visual effect or two: indentation and de-saturation would be very good.

Looks like they are now indented and a bit grey as of sometime in the last week or so?

@jscs There's a new post on this on meta somewhere - they've made changes to blockquotes and other aspects of the design
