Indentation would definitely be a good addition to the change.

This issue also applies to Code Review.SE where answers semi-regularly quote code from the question to contrast it with an improvement

It applies everywhere you want to properly distinguish quotes from the actual content of the post, which is basically....everywhere anyway.
