I would like to present a unbiased common man perspective here. I was a regular Stack Overflow consumer & attracted towards contribution by a friend's reputation ecstasy. That's the trigger. After that I didn't look back. The learning experience tied me to Stack Overflow forever.
I learned the core principles of Stack Overflow over a period of time, understood them & trying to explain the people in need.
Still my friends faced lot of criticisms, harsh treatments, unhelpful moments - which is totally understandable from SO contributor perspective and the sad part from the OP friend perspective as well. It's a continuous process and a Never endingneverending perpetual process till every single born baby understand what Stack Overflow is.
One of my friend shared this to me in WhatsappWhatsApp & said "SO in a nutshell". Surprisingly, every time I read this I got different opinion.
