Nov 6, 2014 at 1:14 comment added RubberDuck After looking at all of the privileges a silver badge might not have, I agree. Approving and editing the tag wiki they have a badge for makes a ton of sense.
Oct 9, 2014 at 4:09 comment added user50049 I thought about this initially, but I fear a lot of really bad tag wiki edits being approved and folks being not very happy about it. Still, they could only do it on tags where they had the badge which implies a broader sense of ownership ("Our cheese! You shall not move it in that way."). The other thing this lets them do is immediately go back and revert bad edits. The more I think about it, the more I like it.
Oct 8, 2014 at 19:00 comment added jscs The tag system already has some idea what tags are related to each other; I'm unsure whether or not that could work for tag wiki privileges, but I think it would for synonyms. But something to do with tag wikis is surely the way to go here.
