It's a fair criticism to say that it fails to explain what was tried, or what effort was put into self-solving by the OP, but the question demonstrates effort - it's well written, formatted, and includes a lovely (if silly) photo. I think you're really criticizing it as a "request to solve the whole problem", which is fine, but saying it shows "no effort" seems broad. | |
