The Dominion War was a Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine crossover miniseries of four novels set during the Dominion War. Books 1 and 2 were published in November 1998, and books 3 and 4 in December 1998.

Books 1 and 3 by John Vornholt were branded as TNG books and were a complete duology unto themselves. The alternating books, 2 and 4, were written by Diane Carey and were novelizations of selected parts of the DS9 season 6 premiere multipart episodes, branded as DS9 novels. Call to Arms... novelized the end of season 5's finale "Call to Arms", all of "A Time to Stand" and "Rocks and Shoals", and most of "Sons and Daughters". ...Sacrifice of Angels contained the rest of "Sons and Daughters" as well as "Behind the Lines", "Favor the Bold" and "Sacrifice of Angels".
