The Minosians were a technologically advanced humanoid race from the planet Minos. They had a reputation as arms dealers, manufacturing advanced weaponry that was used by both sides during the Erselrope Wars. It was during these wars that the Minosians developed a reputation for making arms and selling them. They ended up being eradicated by their own weapons. Their ideal was, "Peace through superior firepower." (TNG episode: "The Arsenal of Freedom", Last Unicorn RPG module: Planetary Adventures)

Gaila had sold a Minosian rifle to the owner of a tongo parlor prior to 2376. (DS9 - Worlds of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine novel: Ferenginar: Satisfaction is Not Guaranteed)

Minosian weaponry, similar in design to the Echo Papa 607 from "The Arsenal of Freedom," was seen in the Star Trek: Generations PC game.
