The Woodstock Music and Art Festival was a rock festival near Bethel, New York, Earth in August, 1969. The concert included such performers as Jimi Hendrix. It was a great success, becoming one of the most famous music festivals in Earth history, and a milestone event of the hippie era.
The festival might have been a failure if Maury Ginsberg had not noticed that a cable connecting to the speaker system had come unplugged and re-connected it. He had not been aware that the man who gave him a lift with his jeep, and drove him to the festival was a member of the Q Continuum later known as Quinn. (VOY: "Death Wish")
