Valerie Weiss (born 18 December 1973; age 50) is a director who directed the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds second season episode "Ad Astra per Aspera".

Weiss originally majored in molecular biology at Princeton University and received a PhD in biological chemistry and molecular pharmagology at Harvard Medical School before switching to a career in television directing.

She helmed episodes of several series, including Chicago P.D., The Librarians (starring Rebecca Romijn, Lindy Booth, and John Larroquette), Scandal (with Sumalee Montano and Brad Greenquist), How to Get Away with Murder (with Amirah Vann, Mark Harelik, and Zehra Fazal), Suits (with Jake Epstein), The Resident (with Bruce Greenwood), The Rookie (with Alicia Coppola), and Why Women Kill (with Alicia Coppola and Spencer Garrett).
